Hey there! I’m Kara, originally from Chicago, now based in Boulder, CO. I studied Sociology and Environmental Issues at Colorado College and am now following my passions as a writer and editor through freelancing. I have an adorable (and sometimes moody) cat named Milo and love hiking, skiing, and practicing yoga.

Welcome to my world of creativity.

Do you struggle with writing, coming up with compelling designs, or creative bios? Maybe you need an extra set of eyes for your manuscript, blog article, or website page. Good news – you’re in the right place! The written word is, well, kind of my thing. I love getting down into the nitty-gritty of writing, whether that be through research, editing for tone and style, or just coming up with an eye-catching title! Health & wellness, environmental issues, social justice issues, and outdoor recreation really get my gears moving, but I’m available to help you with almost anything. Ready to start working together? Send me an email or shoot me a text, and let’s get started!
